The One And Only Cowboy Up For A Cure Rodeo Rides Again

The Cowboy Up for a Cure Rodeo, presented by Jack Kain Ford, returns to the Kentucky Horse Park’s Alltech Arena, on Saturday, April 7, 2017 at 7 pm.

Gates will open at 6pm, with tons of fun for the whole family.

Award-winning, professional rodeo entertainment will be provided by 3 Bar J Rodeo of Union City, Indiana.

Since 2014, Cowboy Up for a Cure, Inc. has hosted this annual event to raise money for pediatric cancer patients seeking treatment in Central Kentucky.  To date, $200,000 of the funds raised by Cowboy Up for a Cure, Inc. have directly benefited the DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic in endeavors such as the UK PAWS Program.

“I’m looking forward to proving once again, that Kentuckians will continue to meet the call and #Cowboy Up to improve the quality of healthcare for our children,” stated Rebecca Shryock, Founder of Cowboy Up for a Cure, Inc.

The Cowboy Up for a Cure Rodeo has twice been awarded the Mid-States Rodeo Association’s Best Rodeo.

Tickets may be purchased online at https://www.etix.com/ticket/v/12941/the-alltech-arena-at-the-kentucky-horse-park or at the door.  Cost is $17 per person, with children five years of age and younger admitted free of charge.  Groups of 10 or more may purchase tickets at a discounted rate online, with ticket code UKSTORG.

About Cowboy Up for a Cure, Inc.

Cowboy Up for a Cure, Inc. was founded in 2013, to benefit children with various forms of pediatric cancer.  Our goal is to raise awareness and to support a pathway to progress for families faced with this adversity.

    About the UK PAWS Program

The PAWS Program at the DanceBlue Kentucky Children’s Hospital Hematology/Oncology Clinic was created to be the educational liaison between the school, the family, and the medical team, on behalf of the patients we serve. The PAWS Program was established in August 2014 through the generous support of two non-profit organizations: Cowboy Up for a Cure and DanceBlue: For the Kids.
