
Mounted Police Colloquium
The KHP Mounted Police and the Lexington Mounted Police units host the annual National Mounted Police Colloquium and Civilian Sensory Clinic at the Kentucky Horse Park. These clinics bring people and horses from all over the country to learn new techniques, share ideas, and train their horses. Training is always conducted in a controlled environment geared toward improving the confidence of both the horse and rider.

Registration
Registration will be limited to the first 100 paid applicants. You are not registered until payment or purchase order has been received. Online registration and payment are preferred.

Lodging
Home2 Suites by Hilton (270 Tiger Way Georgetown, KY 40324) will be the host hotel. Each room has a kitchenette with a full size refrigerator, pull-out sofa to a full bed in a living area, hotel recently constructed, and has a lot of food options around the hotel. There is an indoor pool, outdoor seating, grills, and a gas fire pit with the seating under a veranda. A continental breakfast will be offered 6:00- 7:00 am every morning.

Civilian Equine Sensory Training Clinics
Hosted by the Kentucky Horse Park Mounted Police and the Lexington, KY Mounted Police Unit, the clinics feature national and international instructors who provide obstacle, sensory, and equitation training for horse and rider.
Must be 18 years old to participate.

Clinic Registration
We welcome horses of all breeds (gaited and non-gaited) and riders from all riding disciplines with western or English tack. Our riders typically have a wide range of riding skills and experience and may range in age from 20s to 60+.
