Here at the International Museum of the Horse, we offer many opportunities for learning in person as well as a host of online resources for at-home fun or in the classroom.
Fun & Facts at the Museum
SUMMER SEASON 12:30 TO 1:30
Stop by the museum to learn about Horses and the Horse world while getting the opportunity to get hands with some of the museumโs objects.
Topics include Bone Cart, Hall of Champions Highlights and Saddle Talks.
Stay for a minute or stay for an hour. Join us and have some fun learning about Horse History.
Classroom Materials
IMH provides downloadable PDFs for use in the classroom and for the family. Organized by age range, these resources can be used as a supplement to a curriculum or a wonderful lesson plan for a trip to visit our museum.
EquineEd: A First Saturday Lecture Series
The International Museum of the Horse partners with the American Saddlebred Museum to offer a monthly lecture series on the first Saturday of each month at 12:30. Special guests cover various topics including, equine art, horse care, farm disaster preparedness, and organizations making strides in the equine industry. Admission to EquineEd is free! Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for announcements on upcoming events.
