Reservations can be made a year in advance of the day of your arrival.

Exciting news from the KHP Campground! Out with boring letters, in with the legends! We are officially renaming our campground loops from standard letters (A, B, C, D) to honor some of our most beloved equine residents. The next time you book your stay with us, you won`t just be picking a spot, you`ll be staying on a loop named after Kentucky Horse Park royalty!
๐ Accelerate Loop
Named in honor of Accelerate, current resident of the Hall of Champions! The 2018 Breedersโ Cup Classic Champion earned an incredible $6.69 million in career earnings during his racing career.
๐ Billy (OโBrien) Loop
Honoring Billy (OโBrien), a 24-year-old Gypsy Vanner donated to the park in 2011. Billy began his park journey as a breed representative in the Breeds Barn, helped with Youth Riding Camp and Mustang Troop in the Education Barn, then served as Mounted Police horse. Known for both riding and driving, he has been a fan favorite in countless parades and special events.
๐ด Conner Loop
Remembering Conner, who arrived as a 2-year-old in 2012 to train for the Horse Drawn Tour Division. Over 13 years of service, this gentle giant provided trolley rides for thousands of visitors, represented the Belgian Draft Breed, and captured hearts with his immense size and calm nature before passing away earlier this year.
๐ Dodger Loop
Celebrating Dodger, one of the original Bureau of Land Management Mustangs adopted to help start the Mustang Troop. Over 20 wonderful years of living and serving at the Park, he played a vital role in the Mustang Troop program and left a lasting impression on every camper he worked with.

@crerunfarm announced today that First Classs, the richest U.S.-bred Arabian racehorse in history and winner of the 2026 $2 million Group 1 Obaiyah Arabian Classic on Saudi Cup Day, will retire to the Kentucky Horse Park.
โFirst Classs had an unmatched career and his addition to the Hall of Champions is a testament to his accomplishments on the track,โ said Kentucky Horse Park President Lee Carter. โWe are grateful to Cre Run Farm for allowing us to be a part of his story. Our visitors will get to experience what fans of First Classs already know, that beyond his racing record, he has an engaging personality and loves to meet people!โ
Bred and owned by Deborah Mihaloff of Cre Run Farm in Doswell, Virginia, First Classs (DahessโToppoftheclass, by Genuine Monarch) will become the first Arabian racehorse to reside in the Kentucky Horse Parkโs Hall of Champions.
โAs a breeder and owner of Arabian racehorses for over 40 years, I am honored to have First Classs in the Hall of Champions,โ said Deborah Mihaloff, breeder and owner of Cre Run Farm. โFirst Classs is a horse of a lifetime, and I credit his whole team, who has been instrumental in his success and contributed to his outstanding career. To be showcased alongside Thoroughbred and Standardbred champions is an honor, and he will be a true ambassador for the lineage of all racing athletesโthe Arabian horse. This is a dream realized, and I look forward to visitors at the Kentucky Horse Park meeting him and learning more about our very special horse.โ
First Classs will reside at the Hall of Champions Barn alongside Thoroughbreds Accelerate, Roy H and Andiโamu; Standardbred pacer Won the West; and Standardbred trotters Mr. Muscleman and Marion Marauder.
