Is the campground open year round?
Yes! The campground is open year round. However, the summer season is very busy and we recommend making reservations in advance.
How far in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made a year in advance of the day of your arrival.
Do you provide shuttles to the park for campground guests?
Yes! Based on host availability, we are able to shuttle campers during the summer season from the campground store to the Visitor Information Center from the hours of 9 am to 5 pm daily.
Do you allow dogs?
The campground is pet-friendly. We do ask that all dogs remain on leashes and that you do your duty after your pet does theirs. A dog park is located at the campground and is available for use to Kentucky Horse Park campground guests, horse show competitors, and park guests.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations may be made on ReserveAmerica.com. If you do not have Internet access, you may place a reservation by calling Reserve America at (888) 4KY-PARK or (888) 459-7275. Groups of 20 or more, please call (859) 259-4257 or (800) 370-6416. Maximum stay is 14 days unless approved by Campground management. Check in time is 2:00 p.m. Check out time is 12:00 noon. All guests are required to check in at the Campground store upon arrival before going to their site.

First dedicated in 1947 at Faraway Farm, Man oโ War is the oldest bronze at the Kentucky Horse Park. Every year, museum staff clean and wax the Parkโs outdoor sculptures to protect and preserve them, including this monumental sculpture.
This year, Man oโ War is receiving additional restoration care. During the next week, conservators will remove the old patina, as well as any corrosion, old wax, and other residue. They will apply a new patina to restore Man oโ Warโs signature chestnut coloring, and finish with a protective wax to ensure he is around for years to come.

This role includes law enforcement duties, emergency response, event traffic control, and working alongside specially trained patrol horses. Officers also play a key role in public engagement, special events, and ceremonial appearances.

๐๐ Happy 13th Birthday, Marion Marauder! ๐๐
Today weโre celebrating another year of excellence from Trotting Triple Crown champion Marion Marauder! Born into a family with deep roots in Standardbred racing, Marion Marauder was trained by Mike Keeling and Paula Wellwood and owned by their son Devin Keeling along with Wellwoodโs mother, Jean.
Marion Marauder etched his name into harness racing history in 2016 when he captured the Hambletonian, Yonkers Trot, and Kentucky Futurity to claim the coveted Trotting Triple Crown. His dramatic, photo-finish win in the Hambletonian finalโafter a career-best 1:51.3 performance in the eliminationsโremains a standout moment in the sport.
Since arriving at the Hall of Champions in 2022, Marion Marauder has continued to impress fans with his friendly demeanor and undeniable champion presence. If youโre visiting this year, stop by his stall and help us wish him the happiest 13th birthday! ๐ด๐๐ฅณ
