Our horses spend most of the winter season turned out to their paddocks but take turns visiting Park guests during Stall-Side Chats. Guests can visit the International Museum of the Horse, American Saddlebred Museum, or Wrigley Media Theater to see the short film, Rein of Nobility.

While our horses enjoy their winter season out in the paddocks, they do enjoy the attention from Park guests during Stall-Side Chats! Guests are welcome to tour the barns anytime during the day, but the Stall-Side Chats are the best times to see horses. Weather Permitting

Film: Reign Of Nobility
Rein of Nobility is currently being shown in the Wrigley Media Theater inside the Visitor Center.
The 15-minute film runs continuously from 10 am-4 pm
Narrated by venerable horseman, film, and TV star William Shatner, this majestic film explores the world of the horse.
Kentucky Horse Park Gift Shop
Whether you want to remember your trip to the Kentucky Horse Park or are looking for the perfect equine gift for a friend, the KHP gift shop has it all. Browse our selection of books, apparel, toys, jewelry, art, and other souvenirs celebrating the horse. Iron Works Cafรฉ is closed during the winter season but grab-and-go food items can be purchased at the Park’s Gift Shop.
Park Statues & Memorials
You can find equine sculptures from artists around the globe throughout the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park. Pick up your Equine Sculpture Walk guide at the Visitor Center or International Museum of the Horse.

We’re Pet Friendly!
Domestic pets are welcome to accompany their owners on park grounds, either on a leash or confined to an approved kennel, providing that the owners clean up after their pets. Sorry, pets are not permitted in the museum exhibits area (lobbies are okay), Iron Works Cafรฉ (covered patio is okay), and the Alltech Arena. Please DO NOT leave pets in cars unattended for any reason.
International Museum of the Horse
The International Museum of the Horse is dedicated to the history of the horse and its unique relationship with humans through time. With over 60,000 square feet to enjoy, the Museumโs permanent exhibitions highlight the history of the horse from ancient times to the many popular sporting events we participate in today. Entrance to the IMH is included with your Park admission.
American Saddlebred Museum
The American Saddlebred Museum highlights the role Saddlebred horses have played in American history and culture. Featuring a large research library, exhibits, and gift shop, the museum is the finest institution in which to learn about American Saddlebreds.
