Is the campground open year round?
Yes! The campground is open year round. However, the summer season is very busy and we recommend making reservations in advance.
How far in advance can I make a reservation?
Reservations can be made a year in advance of the day of your arrival.
Do you provide shuttles to the park for campground guests?
Yes! Based on host availability, we are able to shuttle campers during the summer season from the campground store to the Visitor Information Center from the hours of 9 am to 5 pm daily.
Do you allow dogs?
The campground is pet-friendly. We do ask that all dogs remain on leashes and that you do your duty after your pet does theirs. A dog park is located at the campground and is available for use to Kentucky Horse Park campground guests, horse show competitors, and park guests.
How do I make a reservation?
Reservations may be made on ReserveAmerica.com. If you do not have Internet access, you may place a reservation by calling Reserve America at (888) 4KY-PARK or (888) 459-7275. Groups of 20 or more, please call (859) 259-4257 or (800) 370-6416. Maximum stay is 14 days unless approved by Campground management. Check in time is 2:00 p.m. Check out time is 12:00 noon. All guests are required to check in at the Campground store upon arrival before going to their site.

๐ด๐จ Itโs Jug Day! The 80th running of the Little Brown Jug is happening at the Delaware County Fairgrounds โ one of harness racingโs crown jewels! ๐โจ
Our very own Western Dreamer, a proud resident of the Hall of Champions (and the oldest horse at the park at 31 years young! ๐), made history back in 1997. He didnโt just win the Jugโฆ he went on to capture the Pacing Triple Crown ๐ โ a feat only 10 horses have ever achieved!
You can even step into our International Museum of the Horse to see a special display honoring his racing career, including his actual Little Brown Jug trophy! ๐
Today, as the worldโs fastest pacers line up, weโre celebrating the champion whoโs still stealing hearts right here at the Kentucky Horse Park. โค๏ธ๐
