A treasure to our state and a facility unlike any other in the world, since 1978 the Kentucky Horse Park’s mission has been to celebrate our relationship with the horse through education, exhibition, engagement and competition. Owned and operated by the Commonwealth of Kentucky, each year we welcome over 500,000 visitors from around the world.

Main Season: May 3 – November 5
OPEN: Wednesday – Sunday, 9:00am – 5:00pm
CLOSED: Monday & Tuesday
General Admission, $20; Senior, $18; Children, $10; Military, $10

Park Admission

Admission can be purchased at the Visitor Center the day of your visit. Admission includes the next day free with the exception of major events and holidays. *Pricing subject to change.

We're sorry, the Horse-Drawn Trolley is temporarily closed.

During the winter season, horses spend time in their paddocks but take turns meeting park guests during scheduled Stall-Side Chats.  Learn more about the winter season!

Kentucky Gift Cards

The perfect gift for anyone or any occasion, Kentucky Gift Cards can be used just like credit cards at the Kentucky Horse Park and Campground, Kentucky State Resort Parks, Kentucky Artisan Center, and the Kentucky Historical Society’s 1792 Store. Gift cards can be purchased at the Kentucky Horse Park or online at: https://parks.ky.gov/gift-cards

Pet Friendly 

Domestic pets are welcome to accompany their owners on park grounds, either on a leash or confined to an approved kennel, providing that the owners clean up after their pets. Pets are not welcome in the museum exhibits area (lobbies are okay), the Iron Works Café (covered patio is okay), and the Alltech Arena. Please DO NOT leave pets in cars unattended for any reason.
