  • Winter Obstacle Play Day with KHP Mounted Police

    Alltech Arena

    Warm up your winter with a fun, supportive obstacle session led by the Kentucky Horse Park Mounted Police. Bring your horse and participate in-hand or under saddle while exploring mounted police obstacles and working equitation elements inside the heated Alltech Arena. Each session ends with an optional, friendly competition to test your new skills. Itโ€™s a great way to build confidence, explore new challenges, and enjoy a winter weekend with your horse. Register Now! Space is limited.

     

    All breeds and disciplines are welcome. No stallions.

    Riders may participate unmounted or mounted to stay within their comfort zone.

    Riders may attend with a wide range of skill levels and experience.ย ย 

    Must be 16 years of age or older.

     

    Sessions are identical, but you may register for multiple sessions. All sessions include 2 hours of open schooling with mounted police obstacles and 1 hour of friendly competition (optional).

    Registration Feeย โ€“ $65 per participant (does not include stall)

    Horse/Tack Stall (optional)ย โ€“ $35 per stall/per night

     

    Requiredย atย Session:

    • Copy of horseโ€™s Coggins (must be current day of schooling) and Health Certificate (12 months for in-state, 30 days for out-of-state)
    • Helmets
    • Saddles
    • Rope Halter and/or Bridle


    Parking
    :
    Trailer parking in the trailer parking lot.

    Truck parking will be designated.

    Absolutely no parking between the Alltech Barns except for loading/unloading.
