Celebrate Halloween with horses! Visit the Kentucky Horse Park on Sunday, October 29, for Hallowhinny! Watch the annual Hallowhinny show, wear your costume, and trick-or-treat the park from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. All of this is included in your admission to the park!

Cemetery Chat: Man O’ War
9:30 am – Many people know the name, but few know that the “Mostest Hoss” is buried right here at the park. Visit Man O’ War’s memorial to learn more about his life and journey to the park, along with some of his offspring and the most outstanding jockey of all time.
Horse-Drawn Trolley
10:00 am – Hop on the trolley pulled by two of our draft horses for a 10-minute tour of the Kentucky Horse Park. Stop by the Big Barn any time during your visit to meet our Draft Horses.
Trick-or-Treat the Park!

10:30 am – The excitement of the racetrack is brought to life when you meet today’s featured Hall of Champions residents.

11:00 am – Breed representatives perform in hand and under saddle in their HALLOWEEN COSTUMES! Stick around after show to get close to today’s featured horses. Different horses featured at shows I & II.
Facts and Fun at the Museum
12:30 pm – Stop by the museum to learn about equine history and interact with some of the museum’s objects/ Stay for a minute or stay for an hour!

Hall of Champions Nightcap
3:30 pm – Find your way to the Hall of Champions for the Barn for the final presentation of the day featuring 2016 trotting triple crown champion, Marion Marauder! Meet us next to his paddock fence in front of the barn.
Cemetery Chat: Memorial Walk of Champions
4:00 pm – After learning about the current residents of the Hall of Champions stick around to learn about the many past residents who eternally rest at the park. Learn about tales of triumph, heartbreak, and even a goat.

Stop by the Mounted Police Barn anytime during your visit! Our officers are happy to introduce you to their equine partners if they are not on patrol.
