  • EquineEd: Featuring Kim Wickens

    Saturday, April 06 – Saturday, April 06, 2024
    12:30PM – 01:00PM

Join us for April’s EquineEd featuring Kim Wickens, the author of the book Lexington!
This discussion will be about Kim’s book, LEXINGTON: The Extraordinary Life and Turbulent Times of America’s Legendary Racehorse.
    About Kim:
Kim Wickens grew up in Dallas, Texas, and practiced as a criminal defense lawyer in New Mexico for twenty years. She subsequently turned her attention to writing, which she studied at Kenyon College, and has devoted the last several years to researching this book. She lives with her husband and son in Lexington, Kentucky, where she trains in dressage with her three horses.
The EquineEd event will take place in the Kentucky Horse Park Visitor Center on Saturday, April 6 at 12:30pm. As always, the lectures are FREE and open to the public.
