Join us for an exciting EquineEd event on November 2nd featuring Jennifer Moore!
As the equine industry grows and changes, more and more horse owners are starting to incorporate bodywork and related therapies into their horsesโ care. In this lecture Jennifer will discuss some of the common therapies used for horses, along with some of the important considerations to keep in mind when utilizing these therapies.
Jennifer has loved horses her whole life, and after years of riding and caring for horses, she decided to pursue an Equine Studies degree in college. During that time, Jennifer fell more in love with the science side of the industry, which led her to pursue her Ph.D. in Animal Science, with a research focus in equine nutrition & exercise physiology. From there, she found her passion for teaching, and she now works to educate the next generation of equine professionals at Midway University about caring for horses from a whole-horse perspective, primarily teaching in the Equine Health & Rehabilitation program.
The EquineEd event will take place in the Kentucky Horse Park Visitor Center on Saturday, November 2nd, at 12:30 pm. As always, the lectures are FREE and open to the public.
