  • EquineEd: Featuring Christian Countzler

    Saturday, March 07 – Saturday, March 07, 2026
    12:30PM – 12:30PM
    International Museum of the Horse

Join us for an inspiring EquineEd event featuring Christian Countzler and his powerful presentation, “Stable Recovery: A Life Beyond Addiction with Horses.”

This discussion will explore the founding, development, and ongoing work of the Stable Recovery program. Stable Recovery helps individuals struggling with addiction find a pathway to long-term sobriety by working hands-on with horses through a customized program offered by Taylor Made Farm. Through daily interaction and responsibility with the horse, participants not only work toward breaking addiction but also gain valuable life and job skills that support lasting recovery beyond the program.

Christian is the co-founder and CEO of Stable Recovery. With more than a decade of experience in recovery work, he recognized the critical need to help individuals build meaningful lives after overcoming addiction. In 2020, he and Frank Taylor sparked the idea for Stable Recovery, and by 2022 the program was officially launched and on its way to making a lasting impact.

The EquineEd event will take place on Saturday, March 7th, at 12:30 pm in the Kentucky Horse Park Visitor Center. As always, lectures are FREE and open to the public.
