Join us for an exciting EquineEd event on February 1st featuring Bob Coleman PhD PAS!
The discussion will look at different management practices horse owners can consider for maintaining pastures. Horse owners can consider what might work for their facility and their horses as one size does not fit all.
Dr. Coleman has served as the Extension Horse specialist at the University of Kentucky since 1998. During this time, he has looked at different management practices when horses are on pasture. In addition to his extension activities, he teaches a course in Equine Facility design and management along with a course on tools and tack used in the industry. Working with horse owners across the commonwealth has provide him with opportunities to look at how different practices work in different situations.
The EquineEd event will take place in the Kentucky Horse Park Visitor Center on Saturday, February 1st, at 12:30 pm. As always, the lectures are FREE and open to the public.
