Introduced in 2021, the CCI4*-S runs concurrently with the Kentucky Three-Day Event CCI5*-L competition, featuring the three phases of eventing – dressage, cross-country, and show jumping. In 2023 the event received increased support from its longtime sponsor to become the Cosequin® Lexington 4*, offering prize money of $25,000 to those riders competing at the CCI4*-S level.
