Summer Equestrian Shows
As a designated USEF Elite Training Center, the Kentucky Horse Park hosts some of the world’s top horse events. Though you’ll find something going on any time of year, summer is the busiest season. Make plans to visit during one of our popular annual events this summer. Whether you’re into hunter jumper or breeds shows, you’ll find plenty to love. The season kicks into high gear with the Land Rover Kentucky Three-Day Event the last weekend of April each year. One of only a handful of competitions at this level in the world, the event attracts Olympic-level athletes to our famous cross-country course and stadium. Don’t miss this exciting spectacle!
The Annual Egyptian Event is one of the world’s premier Straight Egyptian Arabian horse shows. This show brings together exquisite Arabian horses and their owners for classes, showings and parties.
The Country Heir Hunter Jumper Shows are a two-part series, each with 5 days of hunter/jumper competition sponsored by Country Heir. This annual competition is a great time for all!
The Robert Murphy Hunter Jumper Show held each July typically draws around 250 horses. The 4-day event features riders of all ages and skill levels and plenty of incredible hunter/jumper talent.
The Champagne Run Horse Trials are the perfect place to watch top trials talent. This 3-day event brings introductory and intermediate-level horses and riders from all over the country to compete in feats of training and agility.
Model horses are welcome at Kentucky Horse Park, too! BreyerFest attracts Breyer Horse fans, collectors and vendors. Some of Breyer’s model horses will even make in-person appearances. This event is perfect for the whole family!
