Lexington Rodeo

Friday, June 16, 2017 - 7:00pm to Saturday, June 17, 2017 - 11:00pm
Lexington Rotary Club

The Lexington Rodeo is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association (PRCA) and produced by the Rotary Club of Lexington. The Rotary Club is an organization dedicated to raising money for both community and international service projects. The Lexington Rodeo is the only PRCA rodeo in Kentucky and was voted the Best New Rodeo of 2015 by the PRCA cowboys GLC. The doors open at 5:00 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday night. Country singer Scott Said will play from 5pm-7pm each night prior to the start of the rodeo. The halftime act this year will be Tommie Turvey, a master horse trainer, and his horse Blade.

Both nights will include the most exciting rodeo events such as bareback riding, steer wrestling, bull riding, barrel racing, and more! For kids there will be a mutton busting contest and a calf scramble in between events. There will also be a “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” night where a portion of the proceeds will be donated to breast cancer research and awareness. Spectators are encouraged to wear pink in support of the cause. Tickets are now available for purchase online.
