SUMMARY:EquineEd: Behind the Jumps featuring Levi Ryckewaert and Tyson Rementer
DESCRIPTION: Saturday\, April 11\, 2026 | 12:30 PM Kentucky Horse Park Visitor Center FREE & Open to the Public\n\n\nYou know the jump\, perched at the head of the lake\, waiting for some of the greatest horses and riders in the world to soar over it. But have you ever wondered how those incredible fences actually come to life?\n\n\nThis month’s EquineEd lecture pulls back the curtain on the artistry and craftsmanship behind the cross-country jumps at the Kentucky Three-Day Event. Join two of the country’s leading jump builders\, Levi Ryckewaert and Tyson Rementer\, both members of the Kentucky Three-Day Event jump team\, as they walk you through what it takes to design\, build\, and place these iconic obstacles\, and share stories from courses around the world.\n\n\nAbout Our Speakers:\n\n\nTyson Rementer began his career building jumps at Pleasant Hollow Farms in Quakertown\, PA\, trading farm work for lessons and entry fees before settling into the role full-time in 2003. He has been a fixture in the jump-building world ever since.\n\n\nLevi Ryckewaert grew up in Belgium with eventing in his blood — his father was a three-day eventer and organizer. Levi began course building in 1993 and moved to England in 1999 to work on the prestigious Badminton Horse Trials\, launching an international career that has spanned courses across the globe.\n\n\n EquineEd is a free monthly lecture series at the Kentucky Horse Park\, open to all.
