School Group Field Trips

The Kentucky Horse Park offers discounted rates for both in-state and out-of-state school groups. Tickets include admission to the International Museum of the Horse, a Smithsonian Affiliate, the American Saddlebred Museum, and equine presentations throughout the day. Some shows and/or events may require an additional charge. A cafeteria-style restaurant is available on park grounds, and there are spaces on the Park for brown bag lunches on a first come-first serve basis.

For more information and to plan your day, contact Ashlee Chilton at or visit the International Museum of the Horse here.

NOTE: Contact Ashlee to make sure your preferred date is available. Some dates may be unavailable for various reasons, including certain park events and other previously confirmed school group bookings.
We cannot schedule any groups during the Rolex Three-Day Event (April 26-29, 2018).

School Groups are offered on a limited basis; please reserve your date at least two weeks in advance.

For Kentucky Students only: The KHP Foundation offers a scholarship program to cover student, teacher, and some chaperone admission for every public Kentucky school to the park for the 2018 Spring session. It will also provide some assistance with transportation costs. The Field Trip Fund is only available from April 1 to May 31, 2018.
If you are a private school and would like to inquire about the Field Trip Fund, please contact Ashlee to see if your school qualifies.
