Lovers of Kentucky’s first native breed of horse, the beautiful American Saddlebred, will thoroughly enjoy the 2014 special exhibition entitled Oak Hill Farm – A Jewel of the Bluegrass, presented by the American Saddlebred Musem’s Showplace for Saddlebreds on the grounds of the Kentucky Horse Park.
The exhibition explores the American Saddlebred showing and breeding empire of Harrodsburg’s Oak Hill Farm. On display are hundreds of items, including photos, paintings, trophies and furnishings from the estate of the farm’s owner Jean McLean Davis.
The exhibition runs February 14, 2014 to January 31, 2015, and admission to the American Saddlebred Museum’s Showplace for Saddlebreds and Oak Hill Farm – A Jewel of the Bluegrass exhibition is included with admission to the Kentucky Horse Park.
