Central Kentucky Riding for Hope has some fun activities to join in on this fall as part of the 2013 Halloween Trail Ride, Ride-A-Thon, and Used Tack Sale on Saturday, October 26.
This is an opportunity to ride your own horse and see areas of the park normally not available to riders. There will also be a Costume Class where riders are encouraged to be creative and compete for prizes by dressing both themselves and their horse in a costume.
Proceeds support CKRH in its mission of providing therapeutic riding and equine-related activities to those with special needs. Riders may choose to raise money for CKRH by having their friends, neighbors, family, and co-workers sponsor them. To qualify to ride for free, the rider must raise a minimum of $60.
The 16th Annual Used Tack and Equipment Sale is the perfect opportunity for those with too much tack or not enough. Clean out unused tack and get a tax write-off. Those in need of tack will find some great bargains.
