Meet the Adoptable Horse of the Week: Donna!
As you can see, Donna is an exceptionally beautiful mare. She is also sound, intelligent, young, and kind -- what a great combination!
She is only 3-years-old, 16.1-hands, and spent only a short amount of time on the racetrack, so she doesn't have any bad habits.
Donna is currently in the retraining program at the Kentucky Equine Humane Center where she is preparing for a new home and new career. She is being recommended for low-level jumping or low-level dressage.
If you'd like more information about the lovely Donna, call 859-881-5849 or

Josh is an 8-year-old, 15-hand, mixed-breed gelding who is available for adoption at the Kentucky Equine Humane Center. While his photo is cute, it doesn't do him justice; he's actually much more attractive in person (don't you just want to hug him?).
Josh has had extensive Parelli training and has been trail-ridden.
He has expressed an interest in having an experienced rider as his new owner.
For more information on Josh or any of the other sound, rideable horses available for adoption at the Kentucky Equine Humane Center, contact them at
Majestic is a 5-year-old Paint mare who is sound and looking for a home.
As you can see, she is quite majestic, as her name implies, and at 15.1-hands she is a great size for just about any discipline.
Majestic has recently been started under saddle at the Kentucky Equine Humane Center's training program while she looks for a new home. She was adopted several weeks ago but returned, due to NO FAULT OF HER OWN.
She's friendly, gets along with other horses, and would love to have a good home with someone who can see her potential.
Imagine how great you'll look on her at horse shows and trail riding!

BHF Wind Dancer, “Dancer” (Winds of Warr x Khemos Love Song)15.1 h. Arabian, foaled 1992
