Seasonal passes are available for 2013 and can be purchased in advance through the Kentucky Horse Park Group Sales office or upon arrival at the park.

Seasonal Vehicle Parking Pass ($30.00)
- Allows vehicle entry into the Kentucky Horse Park main parking lot for the duration of the season.
- The Seasonal Parking Pass will not allow entry during some special events such as Rolex-Kentucky, Southern Lights, etc.
- Regular parking fees of $3.00/day or $5.00/event are waived.
- The Seasonal Parking Pass is a hang tag that must be displayed on the rear view mirror. The parking pass is transferable between vehicles.
- The Seasonal Parking Pass does not include park admission.
Seasonal Trailer Grounds Fee Pass ($75.00)
- The Seasonal Trailer Grounds Fee Pass is required for all competitors attending an equine competition who show out of their trailer and do not rent a stall.
- Day passes are also available for $20.00/day and may be purchased through the event office during the competition. Day passes are not available for purchase in advance of event.
- The Seasonal Trailer Grounds Fee Pass is a sticker that must be displayed in the license plate area of the trailer or rear lower left corner of the trailer. The Seasonal Trailer Grounds Fee Pass (sticker) is not transferable between trailers.
Seasonal Golf Cart License ($50.00)
- Required for all individuals who bring a privately-owned golf cart or similar vehicle (John Deere Gators, Mules, or other rural-rated vehicles) onto the park.
- Event licenses are also available for $25.00/event and may be purchased through Dever’s Show Services in the stabling area or the Kentucky Horse Park Campground Store. Event licenses are valid for seven days of occupancy. Event licenses are not available for purchase in advance of event.
- The Seasonal Golf Cart License is a sticker that must be displayed on the driver’s side front panel or windshield of the vehicle. The Seasonal Golf Cart License (sticker) is not transferable between vehicles.
- The Kentucky Horse Park does not allow four-wheelers, three-wheelers, or dirt bikes over 50cc on park grounds.

Budweiser Clydesdales Visit The Kentucky Horse Park

The Budweiser Clydesdales are visiting the Kentucky Horse Park!
Now through Wednesday, October 24, park guests may see the magnificent Budweiser Clydesdales up close and personal, along with their ever-present Dalmatian buddies and human crew in the historic Big Barn.
On Sunday, October 21, these horses will make an appearance in full hitch at the Horses of the World Show at 2:00 pm.
Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see the Budweiser Clydesdales during their short layover in Lexington.

Looking for a bomb-proof trail horse who has done it all? Meet Sir Maybelline, a former show hunter, racehorse, and currently a solid trail horse who is sound and sweet as the day is long.
He acts much younger than his age, and the person who adopts him will be getting the equine equivalent of a fine Kentucky Bourbon: warm, smooth, pleasant, and aged to perfection.
Seriously, don't let his age (21) deter you. Sir Maybelline is a 16.1-hand Thoroughbred gelding who has a great personality, is still in the prime of his life, and has a lot to give!

Meet Unravelled, a 6-year-old, 15.2-hand Thoroughbred mare who is available for adoption from the Kentucky Equine Humane Center.
She was surrendered to the Kentucky Equine Humane Center last year, in foal, as a starvation case, but she and the foal are doing great now.
Unravelled is progressing well in the Thoroughbred retraining program at the center. She will need an experienced rider, but best all all, she should be sound for any discipline.
Find out why Thoroughbreds make great horses for whatever you ask of them! With their keen intelligence and excellent work ethic, they are outstanding prospects for just about anything.

Hats Off to Kentucky's Horse Industry Day is a celebration of the horse and its impact on the state of Kentucky. The day offers fun family activities including arts and crafts for children, pony rides, interactive educational booths, thrilling equestrian competition, and it's all free! Hats Off Day is the only day of the year an entire family can enjoy the Kentucky Horse Park and all it has to offer, at no cost!
The horse industry in Kentucky generates 80,000 - 100,000 in direct and indirect jobs, and impacts our economy by an estimated 8 billion dollars!
In celebration of the horse, Kentuckians flock to the Kentucky Horse Park on Hats Off 
Day for a free day of family fun and an opportunity to learn more about horses and the amazing things they do for our great state.
Events include children’s activities, free pony rides, educational booths, interactive equine stations, $50,000 Grand Prix Show Jumping, and much more!
The Rood & Riddle Kentucky Grand Prix, a challenging show jumping competition between top international horses and riders, is the featured evening entertainment of Hats Off Day and is taking place in the beautiful outdoor Rolex Stadium. A silent and live auction will benefit the Kentucky Horse Park Foundation and the Kentucky Equine Humane Center.

Meet Montana, a 12-year-old Appaloosa gelding, who is looking for a good home.
He is 14.3 hands, friendly, and gets along well with his pasture mates. He is easy to catch and has good ground manners. Montana has been ridden for pleasure and would be suitable for an advanced beginner to intermediate rider.

Meet the adoptable horse of the week, Port Allen.
He's an 8-year-old Thoroughbred gelding, 15.3-hands, who had a previous life as a show hunter. He is currently in the retraining program at the Kentucky Equine Humane Center, where he's doing very well (the photo above was taken before he came to the Humane Center).
Port Allen went to first horse show in April and did very well in that new situation. He is personable and has good ground manners. He does have an old suspensory ligament injury but he is fully recovered. He would probably be best suited for flatwork. In his retraining program it appears that he might make a nice dressage horse. He has requested an advanced beginner or intermediate rider.
At 8 years of age, he is just starting to come into his best years, so he'd love to have a new home with a wonderful owner.
