Art After Hours is a free program that brings awareness of local art organizations to students, young art professionals and the young at heart. Participants get to know Lexington organizations, the staff and other art explorers. Each event includes a tour of the organization, networking opportunity and special activity. The Headley-Whitney Museum is a decorative arts museum founded by prominent 20th- century jewelry designer, George W. Headley III, and is located in the heart of Bluegrass Country along the scenic corridor of Old Frankfort Pike in Lexington. The Museum is open Tuesday through Friday from 10am to 5pm, and Saturday and Sunday 12pm to 5pm, with the last tour at 4pm.
