John Henry's fans across the country have requested updates on the beloved champion's health.

He is being closely monitored by his veterinarian, and has been treated for dehydration several times this summer, due in large part to the excessive heat and his age.

He is afterall, a very, very old horse who has far exceeded his life expectancy, so we treasure each day a gift.

The administration office is closed on weekends, so we will provide a new update on Monday. Please refer to Friday's update for the most recent information. Thank you!

He receives guests at his stall during park hours, 9am to 5pm.
