Horse Show Information

The information provided on this page is to assist both competitors and event managers who will be conducting or participating at an event at the Kentucky Horse Park. Exhibitors and show managers should refer to this page concerning updated stabling requirements, Kentucky Horse Park policies and procedures and contact information.

Please be advised the Kentucky Dept. of Agriculture has changed their regulations regarding horses shipping into Kentucky from Texas. Texas has been affected by the detection of Equine Piroplasmosis in several counties which has caused increased regulation regarding the transport of horses from this state. Currently, and until further notice, horses arriving to Kentucky and the Park for shows and events from Texas will be required to test negative for Piro (Equine Piroplasmosis/T. equigenitalis).

Any horses arriving from Texas without a negative test will be denied entry. All other requirements remain the same in regard to EIA (coggins) and health certificates.

Please notify your competitors of this information. Thank you.
