Saturday, May 14, 2016 - 7:00am to 5:00pm
Event Description:

A Challenge for Everyone. A Running & Endurance series created from 15 years of fitness event experience across the country. We’re on a mission to highlight America’s most fit, while promoting fitness for everyone. This celebration is open to all fitness levels & participation and will take place at the Steeplechase Field in the Kentucky Horse Park. Walk the 5K, run the 10K, or challenge yourself with the obstacle course. You have been challenged!

If you are in a fitness program, this event is for you. You don’t need to be an Iron Man to enjoy the Kentucky Horse Park Cross Country Course and its challenges. For the first time ever, athletes will be afforded the opportunity to traverse the three mile Steeplechase Endurance Event course with horse jumps, body weight exercises, and strong man events. Your training and agility will prepare you to accelerate through the finish line.

Set in rolling hills in the heart of the Kentucky Bluegrass, the horse jump obstacles may require balancing, climbing and jumping. In between each vault are challenges that will test your core strength, endurance and overall fitness while designed for anyone in a fitness program to be able to achieve.

Come ready for a fun yet challenging experience. The Open is for casually trained athletes as well as those that train often.
