Many religions depict their gods and heroes riding white horses. St. George (of England) and St. Demetrius (of Greece) rode white horses.
National Horse Center
The National Horse Center is a collection of more than 30 national, regional and state equine associations, commissions and organizations that have their head-quarters at the Kentucky Horse Park. This ever-growing equine "village," representing a wide variety of equine participants, breeds and disciplines, is just one of the many reasons why Lexington, Kentucky, is known as "The Horse Capital of the World."
